DQS Group: Re-Branding Initiative

In the past seven years we, the international DQS-UL Group, have successfully implemented a double branding strategy. With two strong brands, DQS and UL, we have become a leading certification partner for management systems with a strong global presence in over 60 countries. To clarify and energize our market position in future, we have now decided to simplify our branding strategy. In future, we will be DQS.

DQS is internationally recognized for high-value auditing and certification services for management systems. The “D” stands for “Deutsch”, our German roots, where we were founded in 1985. “Q” represents “Quality”, as we believe in quality as a key success factor in competitive markets. “S” stands for “Systems”, because our core competence is in management systems.

Our new branding strategy will become visible in our simplified global logo. We have planned for a smooth transition period of six months, implementing DQS as our single global brand. With this branding initiative we will strengthen the importance of management system certification, we will promote deployment of revised 9001 and 14001 standards, and we will continue to invest in competence – our most significant asset in serving customers around the world.
